Finally Some Pictures

I still don't know why my computer is telling me that my picture files are empty. I can access my pictures just fine if I am not trying to access them through blogger. I ended up transferring my "empty" files to another file, and then I was able to access my pictures. Sometimes computers drive me crazy. Anyway, here are the pictures. This first one is of us with my grandparents (the Delmar Kaufmans). We were able to make a quick trip down to NC a few weekends ago to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary. It was a really special time; my mom's whole family was there. What made it more special was the fact that over two years ago, the doctors only gave my grandpa a few weeks to live. He has two blown valves in his heart, and because of his age, he and the family decided that it would be best not to operate. He is a walking miracle.













The other important event that I mentioned was Devin's baby dedication. I think that I am beginning to feel a little of what a huge responsibility it is to raise children. God has entrusted him into our care; that is both scary and exciting. When we dedicated Devin to the Lord, we were serious. Who knows, maybe Br. Clough is holding a future missionary or pastor in his arms.

Wow, I'm Back

I should get some kind of reward for "longest blogging slump." I know, I have done horrible. What inspired me to post again was the fact that I had four or five people at the Penn View Campus Days tell me that they actually read my blog. Really, the reason that I haven't posted for a while is not because of lack of material, but because I simply haven't taken the time. Actually, several notable things have happened since I last posted. I will tell you about them as soon as I can figure out why blogger keeps telling me that my picture file is empty when it is very full.
